Fish the Robinson River and the Gulf from our riverside fishing camps.
Fishing is one of the highlights of a stay at Seven Emu Station. Barramundi are the main attraction, but anglers may also encounter mangrove jack, queenfish, golden snapper and other species. Depending on conditions and where you fish, there are opportunities to explore the river, river mouth and Gulf waters. Mud crabbing is another favourite.
Our fishing camps offer a remote experience for visitors who bring their own boat and supplies. The camps have no toilets, showers or drinking water, so please arrive self-sufficient.
Fishing camp rates
These rates apply to new bookings made from 1 August 2026. A minimum stay of three nights applies. Rates are per person, per night.

Children under 5 stay free. Stays are available for up to one month.
Before you travel
- Access is by self-drive 4WD. Seasonal conditions can affect the roads and the Robinson River crossing, so please call ahead for current conditions.
- Visitors must sign an indemnity form on arrival.
- Bring everything you need for a remote stay, including drinking water and first-aid supplies. There is no airstrip at the station, and the nearest medical centre is more than 100 km away.
- Cash is preferred; EFTPOS and credit cards are also accepted.
