Immerse yourself in the expanses of unspoilt Gulf wilderness.
Whether you’re a nature lover, birdwatcher or just as a peaceful getaway, a stay along the Cliff Camp sites overlooking the stunning Robinson River will be something you’ll never forget.
These authentic rustic camps are made by our stockmen as they have for most of their lives. With bough sheds for shelter, open fires and a “donkey” to heat your shower, your camp will be the real deal.
Watch the bull sharks hunting schools of salmon … crocodiles swimming up and down on the hunt … and as the toilets are situated so high on the cliff, watch the eagles and jabirus flying below you! Seek out the secretive, Purple-crowned Fairy Wrens, Azure Kingfishers and wading birds.
Camp sites are spread out to assure your privacy. A short drive down to the banks of the Robinson River will put you at a prime Barramundi fishing hot spot or gives nature lovers access to some of Australia’s most untouched waters and birdwatching.
If you are wanting to launch your boat at the Robinson River Cliff Camps to access the coast and be surrounded by multitudes of birds and abundant marine life, including Turtles and dugongs. We would recommend booking a Fishing Camp site if you have a larger vessel, as the access points around the Cliff Camps are quite rocky and have limited access and can strand larger boats at low tide.

You won’t want to leave this magnificent and exclusive wilderness location!
